Forest and Land Use Plan

To clearly realize, concretize and put into action the Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives of the Alliance, the Program Management Office upon approval of the Alliance Council, submitted a project proposal to the European Commission in the Philippines with office address at Manila for the Forest Land Use Plan project and was finally approved upon contract signing last March 27, 2006 with the European Commission and Lanuza Bay Development Alliance. The FLUPCommitted to this projection of ideals and aspirations, the development and implementation of a LBDA Forest Land-Use Plan is vital.

 
Following Guidelines Applied:
  1. §Coastal Resources are interrelated with Lowland- and Upland-Resources;
  2. §Forests are important in the peoples existence, e.g. income generation, recreation;
  3. §Local Government Units are mandated to share management and development responsibilities of their Forest Resources particularly on:
        
    A) Communal Forest Areas
         B) Watershed Areas
         C) ISF and CBFM Areas.
