Lanuza Bay is an area of extraordinary natural resources and beauty. This area encompasss the municipalities of Carrascal, Cantilan, Madrid, Carmen, Lanuza, Cortes and Tandag.

The People and the Leaders of the 7 Municipalities recognized the delicate and priceless resource entrusted to their care and their responsibility to future generations.

The Bay and the Municipalities are challenged with several concerns. These concerns have led the seven municipalities to understand that the long-term health of the Bay cannot be assumed, but rather must be safeguarded. As such the leadership of these municipalities have bonded to form the CarCanMadCarLanCorTan – Lanuza Bay Development Alliance (LBDA).
